Lessons

    We provide instruction for all levels and ages of riders, at our farm or yours. Students include beginners through advanced competitors. You may take lessons on our school horses, including a retired FEI horse, beginner horses and a pony, or trailer your own horse in. Lessons may be group or private, and lesson schedule and length is very flexible. We would also love to instruct or host your clinic.

Meet our instructors

Instructor Katherine Bruce has decades of experience teaching riders of all ages and levels. Kathi's riding career has taken her from Preliminary eventing through Grand Prix dressage. She specializes in improving your communication with the horse. She has multiple long-time students competing successfully in the region. Come for a few "tune up" lessons. Or keep coming for long term education.

Kathi teaches more than just dressage. Take a lesson whether you compete or ride just for fun. You will become a more effective rider. Her students over the years include dressage riders, pleasure riders, hunter/jumpers, eventers, and Pony Clubs. She teaches safe equitation over fences. Many 4-H riders have enjoyed her clinics.

Has your son or daughter been begging you for riding lessons? Introducing Irene, our new beginner instructor! Irene enjoys teaching our youngest students. And they love her enthusiasm and positive attitude. Irene's riding career brought her through First Choice Riding Academy, eventing and now to dressage. Our pony, Raspberry, is her trustworthy assistant.
